BC SPORT PARTICIPATION INITIATIVE

Triathlon BC is working to develop youth participation in Triathlon.  This initiative is funded by ViaSport's BC Sport Participation Grant Program (BCSPP).  The BCSPP grant provides funding to province-wide and multi-regional projects that encourage youth to lead active and healthy lifestyles through involvement in sport.

SPLASH N DASH & RUN N ROLL MULTISPORT SERIES

What Is A Splash n’ Dash? -  A Splash n’ Dash is a FUN, fitness activity involving swimming and running (consecutively), with a short period of time required to move from one sport to the other, called a TRANSITION. A swim-run event is related to triathlon (swim-bike-run).

What is A Run n'Roll? - A Run n'Roll is a FUN,  fitness activity involving running and rolling (think skateboard,  bicycle,  tricycle or other wheeled forms movement!),  with a short period of time in TRANSITION.

Who Can Participate?  - Anyone in Kindergarten through Grade 12. The school events are designed to include all levels. Every finisher is a winner. Different distances are sometimes offered so students can “choose their challenge”.
