Newsmagazine Submissions

Please email all correspondence, including articles, ads, press releases, event notices, information on activities, and other announcements in Word, Excel, HTML, text or Publisher formats.

Submission Deadlines:

February 8th for the Spring (March) print issue
May 1st for the Summer (June) eNews issue
July 15th for the Fall (August) eNews issue
November 1st for the Winter (December) print issue

General Guidelines:

Minor articles may not exceed 250 words.
Feature articles may not exceed 750 words.
“Spell-check” is mandatory.
Ensure articles are proofread for grammatical errors prior to submission.
Absolutely no vulgar or obscene language will be permitted.
Original photos may be mailed to the Editor and will be returned unscathed.

Acceptable formats for Artwork, Graphics and Photos:

Encapsulated PostScript (.eps)
Graphics Interchange Format, CompuServe format (.gif or .gfa)
JPEG File Interchange Format (.jpeg, .jpg, .jfif, or .jpe)
Portable network Grapics (.pgn)
TIFF, Tagged Image File Format (.tif or .tiff)
Windows metafile (.wmf)

LOW RESOLUTION GRAPHICS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

About Triathlon BC

Triathlon BC is the provincial governing body, dedicated to the growth, development and promotion of Triathlon, Duathlon, Aquathon and Winter Triathlon for all athletes, regardless of skill or age.

The Sport

The sport of Triathlon is comprised of events that include swimming, cycling and running components. Distances include Sprint, Short Course (Olympic) and Long Distance. Triathlon Canada's Kids of Steel (KOS) events cater to youth athletes under the age of 19.
