Interested in taking part in the 2020 BC Summer Games in Maple Ridge?

Join us in the Okanagan and Maple Ridge for two 5-hour camps to learn the skills needed for the upcoming games. Each camp will consist of a 2-hour cycling skills session, a BC Summer Games Information Session and a Mad Moto style aquathlon practice. Led by performance-based coaches in Kelly Guest and Laura Medcalf, these clinics promise to give athletes a head start when it comes to qualifying for the 2020 BC Summer Games.

Cycling Skills Session (2 hours)  – The cycling skill session will consist of cornering, gearing, safety and how to comfortably ride in a group environment.  Athletes will be evaluated on their skills and will have the opportunity to obtain a draft legal certification out of this clinic.  Each athlete will receive a cycling skills report card post the clinic.

Information Session (1 hour) – This session will provide athletes with some key information on the BC Summer Games.  Learn how to qualify, what to expect at the BC Summer Games, and what events will be included in the games.

Mad Moto Aquathlon Practice (1-1.5 hours) – Our performance-based coaches will lead athletes through a Mad Moto style aquathlon practice of swim-run-swim, and run-swim-run.  This practice will give athletes the chance to learn and practice race tactical skills in an exciting, fast and fun way.
