“We’re super stoked to invite cross triathletes from across the province to compete for the provincial championship here in Cumberland in 2019. Cross triathlon is getting bigger and bigger, and with world-class courses in Victoria, Squamish and here in Cumberland, it’s easy to see why. We’re so proud to be part of this community, and to show the province why our trails and our community are so legendary. Seriously, you’re going to love it here,” exclaimed an excited Ryan Parton, Race Director, PACE Multisport Dodge City X.
Susie Ernsting, Race Director, Kelowna Apple Triathlon shared her enthusiasm to be part of the provincial championship landscape for 2019, “we are honoured to host next year’s BC Sprint and Standard Championships, and welcome athletes from across British Columbia to Kelowna, showcasing our beautiful venue in Downtown Kelowna at our new date in July. We worked hard this fall to find a date outside of the forest fire season and would like to thank the City of Kelowna, Triathlon Canada and Triathlon BC for working with us on this endeavor.”
