MAGOG CAMTRI/ YOUTH OLYMPIC GAMES (YOG), JULY 14

Magog CAMTRI/ YOG selection race takes place on July 14th 2018 in Magog, Quebec. Athletes attending this event will compete against an international field, pursuing ITU points. Entries are made directly through athlete Expression of Interest (EOI) within their personal Triathlon Canada Smartabase accounts.

Athletes seeking selection for the Youth Olympic Games Team will be competing with athletes from across the country in a super sprint distance race where the action will be fast and furious to get to the line first, as only one male and one female will be selected to represent Canada at the Youth Olympic Games!

Eligible athletes must have previously submitted Expressions of Interest to Triathlon Canada.

Support for this Project will include: Travel logistics, accommodation booking, pre-race training and scouting, race day support. This project will be 100% athlete funded.

TORONTO NATIONAL MIXED TEAM RELAY CHAMPIONSHIPS, JULY 20 – 22

Triathlon BC is committed to fielding a strong Mixed Team Relay team, with the primary goal of retaining the National Championship title from 2017.

Mixed Team Relay (MTR) has become the exciting new race format that countries are most looking forward to in Tokyo. The format includes 4-person teams (2 male /2 female) with each competitor racing a super sprint distance before tagging their team mate.

Teams will be provincially based. 2 (potentially 3) teams will be assemble with the best BC has to offer to race at these national championships.

Teams will be selected on previous race performances and submitted 200m swim/1500m run ratified times.
