You’ve seen the glorious shots of athletes cycling through lush green singletrack, bounding their way over dusty fire roads, with an ear-to-ear grin no matter the weather.

Admit it, you’ve always wanted learn what the Cross Triathlon hype was about, but perhaps you were a little intimated of off-road running and riding, or just weren’t sure where to start. We get it, and we’re here to help you get that off-road triathlon journey started, and that starts with a mountain bike and developing some basic, off-road skills.

Like all triathlons, Cross triathlons are a combination of swim, bike and run, only the cycling and running portion take part on….wait for it….. a network of trails that can vary from single track technical to fire road or gravel paths, and probably, some combination thereof.

How better to learn these skills but with Whistler-based NCCP Coach and resident Pro athlete, Karsten Madsen.  With a palmarès that includes 5 Xterra event titles, 3 National Cross Championships and 2nd in the 2019 Xterra Pan Am Tour, it’s safe to say, Karsten knows his way around the trails.  Let Karsten’s years of training, racing and off-road knowledge, coupled with his coaching prowess guide you to become a confident, better technical and faster Cross athlete!

On Saturday, July 10th, join us in a Cross-focused Clinic, spending the day riding and trail running with like- minded athletes eager to embrace the critical skills necessary to make the leap into the growing sport of off-road triathlon, safely and with confidence!
