The Masters Sport Research Team, made up of Canadian researchers from Cape Breton University, the University of Ottawa, and the University of Lethbridge, invite Masters athletes and coaches who work with Masters athletes to participate in a new, federally-funded, study on Masters sport.

In this study, the researchers are interested in understanding your experiences in your primary sport as a Master athlete. If you have a coach that regularly supports you in your primary sport, you will be asked additional questions about the coaching you receive from this person. Your responses will remain completely confidential, and they will never be shared with your coach. Both coached and non-coached Masters athletes can participate in this study.

To learn more about the Team’s initiatives and studies, please visit their website for published articles and brief research bytes about Masters sport: www.coachingmastersathletes.com

The researchers are kindly requesting that you help advance knowledge on Masters sport by completing one of the following two online surveys:

COACHES: If you coach Masters Athletes, you are invited to take part in a survey which has been adapted from a previous Masters coaching survey. Your answers are completely confidential and will not disclose any personally recognizable information. Please click HERE to proceed to the Coach’s survey.

ATHLETES: If you are a Masters Athlete, you are invited you to take part in this survey. You do not have to have a coach in order to participate in this survey. Your answers are completely confidential and will not disclose any personally recognizable information. Please click HERE to proceed to the Master Athlete’s survey.
