Triathlon Specific Age Group Athlete Strength, Conditioning & Recovery Clinic

With a long history of developing endurance sport athletes, Vancouver’s Rep 1 Fitness Studio, in partnership with Triathlon BC, has created a custom six-week program focusing on strength and conditioning training specific for age group multisport athletes!

The collective evidence suggests a large variety of benefits from strength training that positively impacts endurance performance, including improved physiological markers of performance, including running and cycling economy, lactate threshold, and anaerobic capacity – This means less oxygen that’s being used at any given intensity.

” A properly designed strength training program, in concert with a sport specific training program is among the easiest gains for improved performance and the reduction in potential injuries,” said lead Rep 1 trainer, Chad Eberle. “This six-week program is tailored for athletes with limited training time, but a desire to push themselves to become the best triathletes they can be this season.”

Participants will be under the watchful care of Kinesiologists, certified in strength and conditioning over the course of the progressive six weeks. Each session is limited to a maximum of 10 participants, ensuring direct learning experiences, maximizing the benefit of this sport specific program.

Over the course of this 6-week program, participants can look forward to learning about the proper techniques and protocols to prevent injury and increase strength for triathlon and multisport activities.
