Performance Athletes, please note, the second submission for ratified times is due August 1, 2018.

Triathlon Canada will be using the ratified times as an ONGOING database to help inform selection policies, national standards and performance criteria. As the database become more robust over the year we will publish 1) submission times and 2) overall best times.

Are you a high performance athlete, between the ages of 16 and 23,  pursuing a berth on Triathlon Canada’s National Team, keen on representing Canada in Olympic pathway ITU events, including WTS, Mixed Team Relay Series, World Cups, Continental Cups AND all major Multisport Games?  If so, please carefully review Triathlon Canada’s Ratified Swim & Run Times Policy, taking special note of all submission deadlines.

The Policy establishes the submission protocol and deadlines for Triathlon Canada ratified swim and run times. All Elite, U23 and Junior athletes with the intent to be selected to represent Canada are required to submit ratified times prior to the stated submission deadlines.

Ratified times will be one of the criteria that Triathlon Canada will use to determine selections and nominations. Additionally, submission of ratified times is a determinant of eligibility.

To be eligible for selection to any Olympic pathway ITU events in 2018 during the ITU Olympic Qualification period (May 11, 2018-May 11, 2020), all athletes are required to submit two (2) ratified times.

The submission deadlines are listed below
