Over the May long weekend athletes from around the province competed in their home regions in the second (of the 4) Virtual Challenge event. Keeping athletes sharp, the second round saw tweaked distances, and the addition of youth and single sport categories to the virtual categories. For the purposes of this Performance Series, Youth is defined as 12-15, while the single sport category allows for the participation of athletes from any sport to to stack themselves up against the province’s best athletes over relatively short swim and run TT efforts.
The submission window for results closed at midnight on Monday May 24th, but due to a technical glitch that may have prevented data uploads, the deadline has been extended to 6:00pm, May 25th for any athlete that completed the time trials but encountered difficulties in submitting their times.
If you are one of the athletes that encountered difficulties with submitting evidence of your performance, just hit the submit button below to send your performance in.
Take note, Round 3 of the Virtual Challenge will take place on July 12th through to 18th, stay tuned for more information and distance!
