2025–2026 CSI Pacific Targeted Athlete Nomination Now Open

Triathlon BC is pleased to announce that the Canadian Sport Institute Pacific (CSI Pacific) and Triathlon BC Targeted Athlete Nomination process for the 2025–2026 season is now open. Through a partnership with the Province of BC, viaSport, the PacificSport network, and CSI Pacific, Triathlon BC works to ensure athletes and coaches have every opportunity to reach their potential. Together, these partners support the next generation of high-performance triathletes and help athletes prepare for national and international success.

Program Overview

The CSI Pacific and Triathlon BC targeted athlete program supports BC’s top developing triathletes and their coaches through access to enhanced services and benefits. These include:

  • Sport science testing and physiology support
  • Strength and conditioning programs

  • Access to regional training centre resources and services

Athlete nominations are based on a combination of:

  • Health and wellness benchmarks
  • Progression along Triathlon BC’s High Performance Pathway

This combination of factors is referred to as the Athlete Health, Wellness and Performance Matrix. It is designed to support both athlete development and long-term performance goals.
