Triathlon BC is pleased to announce the election of its 2025–2026 Board of Directors, following the 37th Annual General Meeting. The Board plays a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of the organization, ensuring that multisport in British Columbia continues to thrive from grassroots participation on through to high-performance development.

We are proud to welcome Duncan Wood as Triathlon BC’s new Board Chair. As the former Chair, Duncan brings extensive experience within the sport community and a commitment to athlete and event development. His leadership will help guide the organization as it continues to focus on opportunities for participation, strengthen safe sport practices, and support the next generation of athletes, coaches, race directors and officials.

Joining Duncan are returning Board members Jody Deane and Susie Ernsting, both of whom bring valuable insight and continuity to Triathlon BC, along with Samantha Audley, who joins the Board for the first time. Samantha’s background in community engagement will be an asset as Triathlon BC continues to build stronger connections with clubs, volunteers, and event organizers across the province.

Triathlon BC would also like to extend its sincere appreciation to Michael Brown, who has concluded his term as Board Chair. Under Michael’s leadership, Triathlon BC navigated  organizational growth and strengthened the foundation of the sport across British Columbia. His vision, dedication, and steady guidance have left an indelible mark on the organization and the broader triathlon community.

As we look ahead to the coming year, Triathlon BC remains focused on advancing safe, inclusive, and inspiring opportunities for all participants, from first-time participants to seasoned competitors. The newly elected Board will continue to build on the organization’s momentum, supporting the ongoing growth and sustainability of multisport in BC.
