Bylaw Update Passed! Thank You for Your Support!
We are thrilled to announce that the special resolution to repeal and replace Triathlon BC’s bylaws was unanimously approved by the membership at the Annual General Meeting on Sunday, October 19th.
This is a critical step forward for Triathlon BC, and it would not have been possible without your engagement and support.
Strengthening Triathlon BC’s Future
The passing of this resolution marks the successful culmination of our extensive governance review, an effort aligned with viaSport’s Operational Enhancement Initiative (OEI), and overseen by the Sport Law Group. These new, modernized bylaws are crucial for establishing a stronger, more resilient governance framework that will help us:
- Align with current best practices in provincial and federal sport.
- Clarify the rights and responsibilities of Members.
- Ensure that we continue to deliver safe, inclusive, and accountable programs across the province.
The new bylaws are now in effect and have been filed and certified with the BC Registries.
