Triathlon Canada’s 2026 International Competition Card (ICC) and Ironman Pro License applications will open on Monday, December 1st. The process for applying for your ICC and/or Ironman Pro License is completed through www.tricanreg.ca/.
To best prepare, please be aware of the requirements;
- Proof of Canadian citizenship(i.e., Canadian Passport) or Permanent Resident status if applicable
- Pre-Participation Medical Exam (PPE): This is a World Triathlon mandated medical exam conducted by a licensed physician, which determines medical clearance to race. The PPE is required for all elite athletes. The 2026 PPE form can be downloaded from the Triathlon Canada webpage under Publications – ICCs: Publications – Triathlon Canada

- A valid 2026 Provincial Membership
- Completed Anti-Doping Education: Every athlete with an ICC must comply with the World Triathlon Anti-Doping Rules. As such, all ICC athletes are accountable to the World Triathlon Anti-Doping Programand are required to complete or refresh either the CCES Clean Sport Module or the World Triathlon Anti-Doping Education every 24 months. Entry will not be allowed onto a startlist without an up-to-date Anti-Doping education.
Please note: Athletes identified Triathlon Canada as a member of the National Athlete Pool (NAP) will be required to complete CCES’s Clean Sport Module every 12 months.
