Triathlon is an exciting multi sport competition that has many different options for competition.  At one time, triathlon consisted of a swim, bike run event.  Now there are many different variations that allow for a wider variety of people to participate, including  Duathlon (run, bike, run), Aquathlon (swim, run), Aquabike (swim, bike) Cross (off-road triathlon), and winter triathlons, plus many other variations. There are also many different distances that are offered from super-sprint distances up to the ultra long distances events.  There is truly something for everyone in Triathlon!

To get started in the sport of triathlon (or any one of its variations), all it takes is a willingness to learn and a desire get active.
