Multisport in British Columbia wouldn’t be possible without the dedicated volunteers who pour their time, energy, and passion into every aspect of our community. From the early morning set-up crews to the evening training mentors, volunteers are the heart and soul of our sport. They are the reason events run smoothly, clubs thrive, and athletes—of all ages—grow and succeed.
The Lifeblood of Our Community
Volunteers wear many hats. They are coaches, club leaders, race directors, fundraisers and everyday champions who show up and give back to the sport we love. Their selfless efforts build stronger communities, nurture athletes, and uphold the values of fairness, inclusion, and fun.
Let’s take a moment to recognize the many ways they contribute:
- Coaches: More than mere instructors, coaches are mentors and motivators. They invest countless hours developing training plans, guiding athletes, and fostering personal growth. Their impact reaches far beyond the finish line.
- Club Board Members: These behind-the-scenes heroes manage logistics, coordinate schedules, and keep things running smoothly so that athletes and families can focus on what they love—racing and training.
- Race Directors: Organizing an event is no small feat. From permits to porta-potties, Race Directors handle every detail so participants can enjoy safe, memorable race-day experiences.
- And Many More…The list of people who keep our sport alive is endless. If you know someone making a difference, we want to hear their story!
