Physiotherapist Chris Perrey

Chris Perrey, Fortius Physiotherapist
A member of the physiotherapy team at Fortius Sport & Health, Chris Perrey brings over eight years of experience working with athletes of all levels, from recreational to elite. This has included over ten years’ experience in rugby and in professional netball. Chris has also worked with Paralympians, and bobsleigh, skeleton, baseball, trampoline and triathlon athletes. Read more >>

 

 

Timothy Rigby, Fortius Strength & Conditioning Coach
Tim is a Physiotherapist and strength & conditioning coach from Australia. He has a degree in sports & exercise science as well as a Doctorate of Physiotherapy. Tim has experience working with amateur to elite athletes, primarily in triathlon, running, AFL and cricket sides. He also has a background competing in endurance sports, including multiple triathlons and marathons, which drives his passion to work with these populations. Tim has a special interest in the prevention, management and treatment of lower limb overuse injuries.

 

Kourtney Gordon Fortius BurnabyKourtney Gordon, Fortius Performance Dietitian
Kourtney Gordon is a Registered Dietitian and Sport Nutritionist specializing in providing practical fuelling solutions for health, well-being, and high-level performance. She holds dual degrees in Biology and Nutrition from the University of Western Ontario where she also provided nutritional support to Rowing Canada Aviron’s Women’s Senior National team. Read more >>

 

 

Lauren Penko Fortius BurnabyLauren Penko, Fortius Applied Sport Scientist, Physiology
Being a former Canadian National Team 10m platform diver, Lauren chose to complete her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology. From there, she pursued a Master’s degree in exercise and environmental physiology, in hopes of exploring other avenues to enhance human performance. Lauren Penko has also had the opportunity to work with the research foundation at the Pan Am Clinic in Winnipeg. Read more >>

 

 

Joanie Caron Fortius BurnabyJoanie Caron, Cycling Coach and Exercise Physiologist
Originally from Québec, Joanie has been racing professionally on the road for over 10 years, and also represented the Canadian National Team many times in the World Cup and other international events. Joanie also has a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology, and is passionate about developing exercise and testing protocols specific to high-performance.
