Where Will Your Journey Take You?

As we move into the heart of the 2026 season, athletes across British Columbia are presented with more opportunities than ever to challenge themselves, develop their skills, and pursue their performance goals. Whether you are racing your first draft-legal event, striving to qualify for the BC Summer Games, competing for National Development Series points, representing Team BC on the Western Canadian circuit, or yearning for a start at the National Championships, every race is a step along your journey.

This summer’s calendar is packed with exciting opportunities. The Triathlon BC SuperSeries continues to showcase the province’s top emerging talent, while the Peach Classic in Penticton serves as British Columbia’s National Development Series qualifier, providing a pathway toward national competition. Athletes 14 and 15 years old will also be vying for selection to the 2026 BC Summer Games in Kelowna, where they will have the opportunity to compete alongside the province’s best youth athletes in a true multi-sport environment.

Beyond our provincial borders, the Western Canadian Triathlon Series offers valuable racing experiences and the chance to compete against the strongest developing athletes from across the Prairies and Western Canada. Looking ahead, British Columbia will also host the inaugural Super Sprint & Relay National Championships in Victoria this August, bringing the country’s fastest and most exciting race format to our doorstep.

No matter where you are on the pathway, these events are more than races, they are opportunities to learn, grow, and discover what is possible. We encourage athletes, coaches, and families to use this newsletter as a resource throughout the season, highlighting event information, and performance pathway opportunities.

The start line awaits. Where will your journey take you?
