Triathlon BC is seeking an extraordinary Race Director to spearhead and elevate the triathlon event at the 2024 BC Summer Games, July 18-21st, in Maple Ridge.

About BC Summer Games: The BC Summer Games, held every two years, bring together talented young athletes from across the province to compete in various sports disciplines, including triathlon. This renowned event not only celebrates athletic excellence but also fosters a spirit of friendship, sportsmanship, and community pride.

Role and Responsibilities: As the Race Director, you will work with Triathlon BC and the BC Summer Games staff to execute the triathlon event during the BC Summer Games. Key responsibilities include:

Event Planning and Logistics: Help coordinate key aspects of the triathlon race, from course design to participant registration, ensuring smooth logistics and adherence to safety protocols.

Community Engagement: Foster strong partnerships with local communities, volunteers, and sponsors to ensure a seamless and inclusive triathlon experience for all participants.

Athlete Support and Experience: Prioritize athletes’ needs, offering a positive and encouraging atmosphere that motivates them to reach their full potential.

Race Innovation: Introduce fresh ideas and innovations that enhance the triathlon event, making it a highlight of the BC Summer Games.

Qualifications and Attributes: We seek a visionary leader who possesses the following qualities:
