As you may be aware, on March 12, 2020 the Board of Directors’ of Sport BC unanimously decided to postpone the 54th Annual Athlete of the Year Awards and Presidents’ Awards. We are pleased to share that the event is now being hosted virtually on Thursday, March 25 at 7:00pm.

“The purpose of our event is to celebrate sport and the people who drive sport in our great province”, shares President and CEO Rob Newman, “As a member-based organization that strongly believes in the power of sport to build strong individuals and communities, we look forward to celebrating the exceptional finalists and winners.”

Sport BC would like to express our gratitude to our guests, members, volunteers, sponsors, and our exceptional event host Scott Russell for their patience through this difficult year. To our inspiring Athlete of the Year Award Finalists, we look forward to celebrating your inspiring stories on March 25!
