Triathlon BC is proud to announce that the organization has once again received “Accredited” designation status through the viaSport Designation Program, the highest level of recognition available to Provincial Sport Organizations in British Columbia.

The accreditation reflects Triathlon BC’s continued commitment to delivering safe, inclusive, and high-quality sport experiences across the province while meeting rigorous standards in governance, participation, coaching and officiating, athlete development, and organizational excellence.

viaSport’s Designation Program recognizes provincial sport organizations that demonstrate strong leadership, accountability, and a commitment to growing sport in communities throughout British Columbia. Accredited organizations are recognized as the provincial authority for their sport and play a key role in supporting athlete pathways, club development, coach education, event hosting, and high-performance excellence.

As Triathlon BC continues to expand participation opportunities and athlete development pathways, the organization remains focused on creating meaningful experiences for athletes of all ages and abilities, from first-time participants to high-performance competitors representing British Columbia and Canada on the national and international stage.
