Position Overview:
Do you have a love of multisport and want to teach new participants the fundamentals of our sport in half-day clinics? Triathlon BC is now hiring coach instructors to deliver introductory programs throughout the province. Instructors will be responsible for the delivery of entry-level swim, bike, run and transition clinics.
We are seeking applicants from all parts of the province.
Qualifications:
- Completion of sport specific NCCP Community Clinic – Triathlon (or willing to complete next clinic).
- Completion of CAC Safe Sport Training module (or willing to complete)
- Previous experience in coaching or club activity lead as an athlete, coach or volunteer.
- Knowledge of Long-Term Athlete Development and Sport for Life.
- Emergency First Aid and CPR-C certified (or willing to be certified).
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to and from clinic locations (mileage subsidized).
- Willing to complete a Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector.
Employment Location: Various locations throughout BC
Employment Type: On-Call
Compensation: $25.00 / hour
