Low Cost, Barrier Free Racing – Pinnacle Performance Splash & Dash, Elk Lake, Victoria:
Triathlon BC has partnered with Pinnacle Performance for their final social triathlon of the season. There are three distances to choose from as adults, and an event just for kids! The formats are all the same: swim, run, swim, run. The event will be followed by a barbeque, the perfect time to mix and mingle, be social and talk all things triathlon with the other athletes.
Whether you’re a seasoned triathlete or just tri-curious, this low-barrier event is all about fun, community, and a little friendly competition!
Choose your challenge with three adult distances, or bring the whole family—there’s a special course just for kids! All races follow a fun swim-run-swim-run format, so just leave your bike at home – if you have one!
What to Expect:
- Fun, social swim-run-swim-run event with multiple distances to choose from
- Swim in the lake where both 70.3 events in Victoria take place
- Event followed by a barbeque social – come for the race, stay for the party

- Date: Wednesday Evening, July 23rd
- Location: Hamsterly Beach, Elk Lake, Victoria, BC
- Time: Check in between 5:00pm and 5:30pm, events starting from 6pm
- Cost: $20.00!
Event Distances:
- Kids (U8): 50m swim, 250m run
- Youth (8-12): 100m swim, 500m run
- Short course: 250m swim, 1km run, 250m swim, 1km run
- Long course: 500m swim, 2km run, 250m swim, 1km run
