2025 Age Group Race Series Wrap-Up

Celebrating a season of camaraderie, competition & incredible performances

The 2025 Triathlon BC Age Group Race Series has officially come to a close! Over the course of the season, age group athletes from across the province tested their grit, determination, and love of multisport at sanctioned events throughout B.C. From early-season pool triathlons to summer half-Iron races and off-road adventures, the Series brought together hundreds of athletes in a celebration of community and friendly competition.

How It Works

Series rankings are calculated using each athlete’s top five finishes in sanctioned events, with an optional 20-point volunteer bonus available to those who gave back to their local race community. Awards are presented to the top finishers in each age and gender category, with thousands of dollars in prizes, commemorative clothing, and plaques on the line.

Perfect Scores — A Rare Achievement

Earning the maximum possible 520 points is no small feat — it takes five strong race performances and a volunteer contribution during the season. This year, several athletes accomplished this perfect tally, a testament to both their athletic excellence and their commitment to the sport community.

A huge congratulations to our perfect-score athletes:

  • Sonya Huser (35–39) — 520 pts

  • Andrea Damiani (40–44) — 520 pts

  • Stephanie Brown (55–59) — 520 pts

  • Wayne Coulson (75+) — 520 pts

These standout performances truly exemplify the spirit of the Age Group Race Series — consistent excellence, community engagement, and a passion for multisport.
